Launch and Live Debut for CBeebies Parenting Helpline
The past few weeks have marked two major milestones for the CBeebies Parenting Helpline, with a high-profile launch event at Tate Modern and our very first live recording at Crossed Wires Festival in Sheffield.
Tate Modern Launch – 5th June
On 5th June, we were proud to officially launch the CBeebies Parenting Helpline at Tate Modern. The event brought together families, experts, and familiar CBeebies faces for a joyful celebration of parenting in all its forms.
Our sleep expert, Lyndsey Hookway, was on hand to offer valuable advice to parents navigating those exhausting early years, while Justin and Bluey delighted younger guests with appearances that made the day extra special.
It was a warm, welcoming and memorable start to a project designed to support parents across the country – and we couldn’t have asked for a better setting or turnout.
Crossed Wires Festival – First Live Recording
Just a few days later, we travelled to Sheffield for the Crossed Wires Festival, where we recorded the very first live episode of the Parenting Helpline.
We were joined by Sophie David of Happy Little Learners, who shared expert insights into child development and the importance of play. Meanwhile, Holly and Charlie got creative with some hands-on crafting – with plenty of laughs along the way.
It was a privilege to take part in such a thoughtful and dynamic audio festival.
🎧 Keep an eye out for the bonus episode, coming soon to BBC Sounds.
