The Radio Academy Festival

I was honoured to be asked to speak at the Radio Academy Festival 2023. Travel hell meant that I was massively delayed and there was sweat and tears on route, no blood thankfully. I made it just in time to close the session and make my contribution. My amazing mentor, Bernard P Achampong, valiantly flew my flag until I arrived. It's gutting when you don’t glide through life like a swan but sometimes, when things are challenging, people get to see who you really are and it's an opportunity to connect. I had an amazing day; I grew my network; developed existing relationships and met some of my heroes.
